Meet Sabrina who lives with her Mom-Bernice. Sabrina is a beautiful Rottweiler who I take on walks a couple times a week. She asked me to tell all of you that if people learned to be more like dogs that maybe we would all be able to get along a lot better!
Sabrina's philosophy of life:

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air & the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved one comes home, always run to greet them.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps, & stretch before rising.
Run, romp & play daily.
Eat with gusto & enthusiasm.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by & nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention & let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water & lie under a shady tree.
When happy, dance around & wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the "guilt thing" & pout
--run right back & make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk

HI FLUFFY BUDDIES !

Hi All- this is Sarena typing. I'm still a cute little baby so my big brother Sammy is here helping me. We decided to write this months newsletter because Mommy is still out dancing around singing something about spring & flowers?? I don't understand but Sammy says it's something she does around this time every year. I guess it's a human thing! I wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoy living here. All the other kittys are so nice & Mommy & Daddy are too, & I even like the big hairy Max thing sometimes! Not when he chases me tho. Mommy laughs sometimes when I tease Max-thing. I keep running back & forth behind desks or chairs so that he can't get to me. Then when I have him dizzy & confused I sneak away the other direction when he's not looking! hahahaha sometimes he stays there looking for me for 10 min-human time! & I'm off finding something to eat in the kitchen! There is always great food in the kitchen & you can't believe how many dishes Daddy puts out for me! He tries to pretend that the food is for Mommy but I don't fall for that trick like she does. I get right on top of all those dishes & try everything in them until I find things I like. Oh- & I have this really neat door that I go thru & I end up on green grass! There is this metal that stops me from going to far out but one day when it was very warm on my fur & my eyes were slanty shut Daddy came out & moved one of those metal things & I went out on this cool white rough stuff & lots more grass! Sammy says the white stuff is called pateeo or concreeet?? I don't know about that- I think Sammy is trying to be a smart big brother. Ok-I can go along so I don't hurt his feelings. Anyway-it was a lot of fun & I had so many new things to sniff & explore. Sammy says one day Daddy will take this black blanky thing off a huge water bowl out there & then we will be out there a whole lot!! I am so excited I could burst!

Mommy came home the other nite & was talking about this beautiful house she went to where Melinda & George live now. She was saying that besides seeing Ash, Cinders & Splinter kittys there were 2 more there -Missy & Shelby. I guess it was like me coming to live in this house with people & other cats & Max-thing but in that case the people & cats moved in with cats! ooops-Sammy says no, cats can't own houses- hmmmmm Well, maybe the house grew them then-I don't understand--- but anyway Mommy was very happy that she met 2 new kittys & she said everyone was very happy! Then Mommy went to another house that didn't have any kittys for a couple years-human time---wait-that really confuses me-NO kittys?? -oh, back on track here-yes I guess no kittys but they went to a big Candy Farm --Sammy says lollypop-huh?? where was I, right-so Connie & Bill got a kitty named Winky. Winky has an eye problem so one of his eyes doesn't work very good so that is how he got his name! Mommy came home one nite & was sooo excited I tell you I had to keep a close watch her feet didn't land on my tail because she went to the house where Morris & Squeeky live & she said she saw & petted Squeeky for the first time. Mommy then told us about Trixie who now lives with Madeline, Isabella & Josephine kittys & people Alice & Blaise. She said Trixie was a little darling but looks just like Isabella & they kept Mommy guessing over who was who. Well geeeez--didn't she sniff their butts--duhhhhh!

I got really confused sometimes when Mommy has water coming from eyes-Sammy says it's called tears & Mommy is sad when she does that. (I always try to cheer up the bowls now that have all those tears) So Mommy was sad a lot lately because some of her buddies took a trip to Rainbow Bridge. She says it will be a long time before she sees Jody again. He took the trip alone without his Mommy Kim but I'm sure Jody wouldn't have left if he didn't have too! Same to Mary Ellen & Mary who had Goofy leave. Mommy was very sad that Goofy left but she says she had gotten a big hug from him before he left.

Well-I've had fun but I must go now because I think there is food I have to go inspect. I hear that in a couple weeks this big bunny is going to come & leave lots of goodies here! I am sooo excited! But one thing that Mommy always tells me is NOT to touch any of that chocolate food stuff. She says if I do I could leave for Rainbow Bridge! So she tells me the Easter Bunny will bring me lots of things that are not chocolate & she wanted all of you to be safe this Easter too! & that goes for all you Max-things out there too! I guess it takes more chocolate if you are a big Max-thing but it is always better to be safe than sorry so NOOOOOO candy! I hope everyone has a great time til Mommy writes again, unless we can't get her to stop jumping around & we have to write again. Now I really have to go- I feel a Max-thing tease coming on!!! hehe
